Happy Valentine's Day!
"A purpose of human life, no matter who is controlling it, is to love whoever is around to be loved." -Kurt Vonnegut
(That's a quote from one of my favorites, and something we should think about everyday!)
I've been wanting to try filet crochet, and this little coaster looked like an easy pattern to learn from! And it is a great beginner project, especially since the design is symmetrical. You can find the pattern here (and the Ravelry page here).
I used size 10 thread (it didn't take much!), and a 1.5mm hook. The finished size came out around 5.25 inches.
Happy Valentine's Day to all of my dear friends out in blog land! I love you all!
