Christmas Ornaments

Untitled

I thought I'd kick start the Christmas crafts posts with some Christmas ornaments!  I made twelve of these to add to presents.  I for one like getting a new ornament every year to add to the collection!

I cheated a little and bought a package of these pre-cut wooden circles at the craft store.  I drew on some designs in pencil, painted them with acrylic paints, sealed them with some artist's varnish, screwed in some eye hooks, added some string to hang and zip zap flip flap (hmm, not sure where that just came from...) I had me some ornaments!

Oh, and of course I had to sign the backs!!

  2. I love the two different greens with the red to make all the different designs. The owl stamp on the back is so cute too!

  4. Kate, these are stunning. And, I don't think it is cheating to use the precut wood circles. I do that kind of thing all the time. Crafter's secret. ;)
