Cathedral Window

Say what? You've been in doily withdrawal? Well I'm here to assuage the pain caused from those doily itching fingers! Your doily fix today is the Cathedral Window.

The Cathedral Window pattern can be found HERE, and the Ravelry page HERE. I used Aunt Lydia's size 10 thread in Silver and Navy with a 1.65mm hook.

This doily definitely had to be blocked to straighten out the center flower bit and the picot edging. Oh the picots... The edge was definitely time consuming! I also had to redo the last round in the grey as I made a counting mistake with the rice stitches. Let's just say I was happy to get this one done!

The Cathedral Window was definitely a bit more time consuming and a little more tricky than other doilies I have made. I'll be honest, it's probably not one I'd jump at the chance to make again, but I think the final outcome was worth the seemingly endless picots!
