Sunday Smiles
You know what makes me smile? Impromptu adventures! Ok, so maybe this trip to the Wild Center in Tupper Lake (NY) was planned the day before, but still! Want to see a few pictures?
It was such a fun trip! I loved being up in the trees on the "Wild Walk," the architecture was beautiful, it was a fantastic day to walk around outside on the trails, and there were lots of animals to see up close indoors like otters, fish, and turtles. The most adorable animal however was Stickley the porcupine. I had no idea how cute porcupines were!

I especially love the closeup photo of what I assume is a big nest of black twigs. So beautiful! And yes, porcupines are very cute. A number of years ago a beautiful coffee table book of nature came out and the front cover was a closeup photo of an adorable animal. I looked it up and discovered it was a porcupine. I've been looking for the dust cover from that book ever since, because I want to frame it and be able to look at that porcupine. :) Pearl
ReplyDeleteHi Pearl! Yes, it was a picture of the big nest that we got to go up into for a higher view! Good luck finding that dust cover, I can just imagine how adorable a porcupine hanging on the wall would be!!!
